Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in a statement on December 30 2025 warned that his country would strongly counter any aggressive act.

The US ruler threatened to mount a large-scale military attack in case Iran resumed the ballistic missile and nuclear weapons program. As regards this, the Iranian president said that his country’s counteraction to any cruel aggressive act would be strong and extremely fierce and gruesome.

A representative of the country’s defence council said that Iran’s missile and defence capabilities cannot be restrained and do not need the approval of anybody and stressed that any aggression would be faced with an immediate and strong counteraction beyond imagination.
