Modern houses have been built at the Chilgol Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang, and public and production buildings at the Toksan Farm under the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee, giving a facelift to farm villages.

Mangyongdae District of Pyongyang Municipality successfully completed the project for building 150 low-storeyed flats, giving priority to the quality of structures.

A hall of culture, office building, pharmacy, kindergarten and others were newly built at the Toksan Farm under the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee to ensure the work of agricultural workers and offer convenience in their life.

Attending the ceremony of moving into new houses and the inauguration ceremony of public and production buildings were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in Pyongyang Municipality, Mangyongdae District, South Hamgyong Province and Jongphyong County, builders and agricultural workers.

Speeches were made there.

As congratulatory performances and cheerful dance parties were given, farm villages were in a festive mood.
