The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, has led the Korean revolution along the road of victory with his extensive guidance over all fields of socialist construction over the past 10-odd years.

He set forth the five-point line of Party building in the new era to strengthen and develop the WPK into a promising socialist ruling party that does not become senile and steadily enhance its leadership ability and fighting efficiency.

A new heyday of strengthening the whole Party was ushered in as it was provided with the powerful weapon for strengthening it into the one that is politically mature, organizationally strong, ideologically pure, strict in discipline and sound in work style under his leadership.

By holding fast to self-reliance and fortitude as the lifeline of self-sustenance and self-development and a powerful driving force, the respected General Secretary energetically led the work to defend the arteries of the self-supporting economy and put the overall economy on a sustainable development track.

With a vigorous drive being waged to adhere to the socialist principles and step up production and construction under the banner of self-sufficiency and self-reliance in the economic field, new potentials are being exploited and strong foundations built to rapidly and sustainably develop the overall economy of the country.

Precious successes were achieved in the field of culture and many spiritual and cultural assets of the Korean style which can be boasted to the world were created.

The respected General Secretary put the country's defence capabilities on a high level.

Regarding it as the first strategic task for army building to strengthen the Korean People’s Army politically and ideologically, he ensured that the KPA service personnel were trained to possess indomitable spiritual strength so that they could always emerge victorious by dint of the strength and might of ideology.

He visited the training grounds clouded with powder smoke and guided the training course of the KPA service personnel to train them into all-round soldiers who are equipped with Korean-style tactics and art of war.

Thanks to the days of devoted efforts of him who visited major munitions factories one after another and gave field guidance over the test-fires of new weapon systems, the DPRK has now possessed powerful national defence capabilities.

Under his seasoned leadership, the DPRK has powerfully demonstrated its dignity, amazing momentous successes symbolic of the times have been achieved in succession in all fields of socialist construction and the advance of the country has been accelerated.

Looking back upon the proud days of the revolution they staged under the leadership of the respected General Secretary, the Korean people are now confident about the future of their country, which will be more prosperous and rosier, and harden their resolve to support his leadership more faithfully.
