At a time when a new life of socialist cultural efflorescence blooms all over the DPRK every day, modern dwelling houses were built in Munmu-ri of Sohung County and in Hugu-ri and Rodong-ri of Sangwon County, North Hwanghae Province.

There took place ceremonies for moving into new houses in those places.

Present there were officials of the Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers in the province and the counties.

Congratulatory addresses were made at the ceremonies.

Then, licences for the use of houses were handed over.

When the farmers began to move into new houses, there were cheerful dance parties full of excitement and joy and the villages were in a festive mood. The DPRK flags were flying at windows of the houses. The farmers’ families extended their thanks to the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea.

Officials visited the owners of the new houses to share joy with them, and encouraged them to do more work for the Party and the socialist system.
