The inauguration of the Kangdong County Hospital in November 19 last year as a model of the development of regional public health was followed by that of the Kusong City Hospital, regional-industry factories and a leisure complex in Kangdong County and regional-industry factories in cities and counties including Sinyang, Rangnim, Taegwan, Jangyon, Pukchang, Cholwon and Janggang counties in succession. And a hospital and regional-industry factories were inaugurated in Ryonggang County of Nampho Municipality on December 29 for the twentieth time, resulting in the successful completion of the tasks for the second year of the regional development policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

As a result, the Korean people greeted the second inauguration season for implementing the regional development policy of the WPK with excitement and joy last year.

The expression is unthinkable apart from the heartfelt sincerity and noble devoted service for the good of the people of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who ushers in an era of great changes with the outlook on the people that even a star should be picked from the sky and flowers brought into bloom on the rock if it were for the happiness of the people.

The Korean people still remember January 2024 when the Tenth Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK was held.

In his policy speech at the meeting the respected General Secretary emphasized the need to establish a new regional development policy, whose main point is that the Party takes charge of the construction of modern regional-industry factories in 20 counties every year as a policy task that should be carried out without fail and implements it to the letter to raise a level higher the basic material and cultural living standards of the people in all cities and counties, in other words, all people across the country, in ten years.

After the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of regional-industry factories in Songchon County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy held on February 28 2024, the days and months continued with the devoted efforts of the General Secretary to hasten the inauguration of regional-industry factories which guarantees a new life and new civilization of the regional people.

As he has had such a noble intention to ensure that everyone who is born on this land equally leads an abundant and civilized life under the socialist policy of the state, whether they live in the capital city or regions, in towns or rural villages, the respected General Secretary continued his field guidance, while planning for the second inauguration season already at the height of the first inauguration season.

He found himself on his field guidance tour for the people’s happiness all the year round and completed the formation plans for the construction projects one after one by making tireless efforts even at night and early in the morning.

Greeting the inauguration in the year of groundbreaking and seeing the entities of happiness they had never imagined even in dreams, the Korean people felt the burning love and affection of the respected General Secretary for them with all their heart again and hardened their resolve to remain loyal to his leadership.
