Russian presidential press secretary Dmitri Peskov mentioned about a series of international issues at the recent press conferences.

He asserted that face-to-face joint efforts are needed in order to establish peace in Ukraine and that the coordination of the Ukrainian situation is impossible unless the European security issue is discussed.

The UK has no intention of contributing to the promotion of peace and stability in the European continent, he said, adding its standpoint assumes a structure-destroying character.

Noting that the US is keeping mum about Russia’s proposal to prolong the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty by one year, he said that the world urgently requires a more useful treaty than the one the US wants.
