Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov referred to the miserable plights of NATO, the European Union and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe at a press conference on January 20.

He said that the organizations tried to rule the big European continent rich in resources and with a large population as the European Atlantic centre instead of making efforts to establish equal relations in Europe.

Such a plan existed until recently, but the entire plan has failed, he said, adding that today NATO and the EU have plunged into the most serious crisis and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe is drawing its last breath.
