North Hwanghae Province finished the capacity expansion project of the Kyongam Cement Factory.

The establishment of a large-capacity cement production process furnished with modern and efficient equipment opened up a prospect for increasing the production of high-quality cement by using locally available raw materials to more dynamically push ahead with construction in the province.

Present at the inauguration ceremony held on January 29 were Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials in the province, working people in Pongsan County and employees of the factory.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round different places of the factory.

Meanwhile, Pak Chang Ho and officials concerned looked round the Kyongam plastic building materials branch factory newly built at the Kyongam Tile Factory to discuss the problems arising in normalizing production and take necessary measures.
