National security is ensured in every way, Russian deputy foreign minister
February 11, 2026Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryavkov referred to the issue of national security in an interview with a TV channel on February 3.
He said that some foreign “overheated heads” may be obsessed with a wild fancy that Russia will be embroiled in a provocation and plunged into chaos and arms race, but such thing will never happen.
Russia has enormous potential to guarantee its security including the weapon systems which have already been developed and commissioned in the armed forces, he said, adding that the three nuclear elements are being modernized on a very high level and new weapon systems, which had not existed at the time when the New START treaty was concluded, have also appeared.
Therefore, the security of the country is ensured in every way and no one can have any doubt in this field, he noted.
