Art group members of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace gave a performance "Song of happiness resounding in the sky of February" on February 13 in celebration of the 84th birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.

The performance began with prelude "We Sing of the Spring Holiday of February".

In the serial songs "Love of General", the performers impressively sang of the noble personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man who made an uninterruptedly long journey of love and devotion to defend the happy laughter of schoolchildren and the future of the country.

Schoolchildren put on the stage colourful numbers such as a kayagum and dance "The Flower Gate of Happiness" and a trio and dance "We Will Become the Marshal's Soldiers", which reflect the merry images of the new generation growing up to be masters of the future.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league, officials concerned, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
