Saying that the main guarantee for ensuring the national security environment lies in thoroughly maintaining the resolute outlook on the enemy, building up the most powerful military muscle and applying the offensive mode of response, he expressed belief that the national defence research group and the workers in the munitions industry would attain more wonderful and inspiring successes in carrying out their important mission for meeting the demands of the revolution and executing the Party’s strategic plan.

He awarded the Order of Kim Il Sung to the enterprise which has performed distinguished feats in carrying out the WPK's policy of defence industry revolution in the new era.

He presented the written donation of 600mm-calibre multiple rocket launchers to the chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army.

He personally drove a launcher vehicle, reviewing the weapons, symbolic of absolute power, which were lined up in the plaza of glory.
