The 2026 National Winter Games closed at the ice hockey gymnasium in the Paektusan area sports village in the City of Samjiyon, Ryanggang Province, on February 27.

Male players of the Taesongsan Sports Club set new national records in speed skating.

Present at the closing ceremony were officials concerned, sportspersons and citizens in the City of Samjiyon.

A new record medal was awarded to the players who set new national records, and cups and medals to the successful teams and players.
