China decides to impose sanctions against Japan
March 4, 2026China decided on February 24 to impose sanctions against Japan as regards the Japanese authorities’ ever-undisguised moves to revive militarism.
Accordingly, 20 entities participating in expanding the military capability of Japan have been included on the export control list.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce stressed that the measure is a completely just, rational and legitimate one to foil Japan’s attempt to remilitarize itself and possess nukes.
