The organizations of the Workers' Party of Korea at all levels are conducting an intensive study to firmly arm all the officials, Party members and other working people with the idea and spirit of the documents of the Ninth Party Congress.

Party organizations of the key industrial sectors, including the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, the Ministry of Chemical Industry and the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, are directing efforts to making officials grasp the Party's intention to powerfully guarantee the growth and development of the overall economy by qualitatively consolidating the production foundations during the period of the new five-year plan.

Those of the fields of forestry, rail transport and light industry are intensifying the study while orienting it to encouraging the participants to find out realistic measures for qualitatively consolidating and further developing the existing foundations and forces.

Those of the agricultural sector are intensifying collective discussions aimed at bringing about a radical turn in agricultural development by fulfilling such tasks as to provide a sure guarantee for attaining the grain production goal set forth by the Party by directing efforts to the seed revolution, scientific farming, tideland farming, double cropping and land improvement, to put vegetable production on a scientific, intensive and industrial basis at a higher level and to take the new five key factors as the main direction in putting animal husbandry on a modern and advanced footing.

Officials, Party members and other working people of the Pyongyang Construction Commission and other institutions are hardening their revolutionary will to dynamically usher in a great golden age of construction by firmly adhering to the Korean-style struggle mode and advance speed of making groundbreaking lead to inauguration in the same year.

Building materials, architectural design, land management and other fields and units are discussing the issues arising in successfully carrying out huge construction tasks and turning the country into a people's paradise more beautiful and better to live in.

Scientists and researchers in the field of scientific research including the State Academy of Sciences are working out detailed plans for researching and developing core technologies for pioneering and running the new industrial sector of high-tech industry, while solving sci-tech problems urgently arising in enhancing the independence and modernization level of the national economy, ensuring the qualitative growth of production and improving the material and cultural life of the people in strict accordance with the main orientation of the scientific and technological work set forth at the Party Congress.

The enthusiasm to carry out the Party's decisions is also being displayed at the study places of working people in the fields of education, public health, art and literature, media and sports.
