The congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan led by Ko Tok U, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, and the congratulatory group of the General Association of Koreans in China led by Chairwoman Choe Un Bok left Pyongyang on March 7 after visiting the homeland on the occasion of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They were seen off by officials concerned at Pyongyang International Airport.
