Mexican president calls for enhancing women’s role in nation building
March 13, 2026The Mexican president stressed the need to enhance the role of women in nation building as she addressed an event held on the occasion of March 8 International Women’s Day.
Referring to the importance of women’s role in building a free, equal and independent state, she pointed to the necessity to make all women exercise the same rights with men, free from any restrictions, and fully display their talents.
And she called for building an equal society, free from discrimination, maltreatment and violence.
