The Workers’ Party of Korea is constantly increasing its policies for the people to promote their wellbeing and realize their dreams and ideals.

The construction of 50 000 flats in Pyongyang, pushed as the most important task of the Eighth Congress of the WPK, has been completed, with the result that nearly 60 000 flats and public buildings epitomizing advanced civilization have appeared in the Songsin and Songhwa area and the Hwasong area, while happy events of moving into new houses have taken place in succession across the country.

Many farms have turned into “rural towns” and “greenhouse towns”, changing the life of farmers.

Thanks to the Party’s regional development policy, regional-industry factories and leisure complexes, modern hospitals, grain storage stations have been built in cities and counties across the country.

Art theatres, stadiums, gymnasiums, riding clubs, air clubs, water parks, bathing beaches and other wonderful bases for cultural and leisure activities have also appeared across the country.

In the country which changes day after day, the Korean people are leading a happy life, creating a new life and civilization to their heart’s content.
