March 23, 2026Employees of regional-industry factories in the City of Sinpho and Jongphyong County of South Hamgyong Province are pushing ahead with the work for developing new products and revitalizing production.
The City of Sinpho found the way to supply sufficient raw materials to such factories in properly selecting the seeds of good species, increasing per-hectare yield and making effective use of resources for offshore farming and has taken measures to that end.
Jongphyong County has focused on securing raw materials needed for regional-industry factories by creating hundreds of hectares of timber and wild fruit forests and expanding the areas of oil-bearing crops.
The factories in the city and county have made progress in developing new products and improving quality by enrolling officials and employees in the tele-education system, operating their sci-tech learning spaces properly and organizing passing-on-technique sessions and demonstrations.
Meanwhile, priority has been given to bringing about qualitative growth of production by putting management and operation on a scientific basis.
The factories in the City of Sinpho have pushed ahead with technical innovation to further improve the soap production process and increased the variety of the iconic foodstuffs of their region by using kelp, sea cucumbers, apricots, black sesame and others as raw materials. And those in Jongphyong County are producing tasty and high-quality confectionery and daily necessities to meet the growing demand of the locals.
The relevant areas are giving priority to the supply of commodities to the families of war veterans, honoured disabled soldiers and labour innovators, while serving all others in a responsible manner.
