Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the State Duma of Russia, said on March 17 that the US, the UK and other Western countries are directly accountable for the Ukrainian crisis.

Russia has done everything to prevent the military conflict in Ukraine, he said, adding that the war would not have occurred in that country, if it were not for the machinations of the Western politicians.

He noted that NATO is fighting against Russia in Ukraine and Russia is not only resisting but also attacking it.

Due to the bloodshed caused by the West and the criminal Ukrainian regime, local residents are suffering and have become hostage to Zelenskiy and his aides, he said.

He affirmed that if order is restored quickly, people will give a sigh of relief and that victory will surely be Russia’s.
