Meeting held to review land management and forest restoration in 2025

A meeting to review the general mobilization drive for land management and forest restoration campaign in 2025 took place in the Cabinet through videoconferencing on March 26.

It was attended by Pak Thae Song, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, An Kum Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, other senior officials of the Party and the government and officials of relevant units in Pyongyang and regions, including the Cabinet, commissions, ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs.

The participants watched a video showing the progress made in the general mobilization drive for land management and forest restoration campaign last year.

The meeting also analyzed and reviewed the shortcomings revealed and lessons obtained through the work to protect the ecological environment last year, such as the maintenance of roads and dwelling houses, afforestation and water conservation and sewage treatment.

It called on all the officials to make fresh progress in land management and forest restoration true to the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress so as to turn the country into a more beautiful paradise good to live in.
