Socialist emulation reviewed
April 2, 2026A meeting was held in the DPRK on March 31 to review the 2025 socialist emulation for increasing the production of greenhouse vegetables among the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm, the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm and the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm.
Present there were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, officials concerned, officials of the Agricultural Commission, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) and units which participated in the emulation and exemplary agricultural workers.
Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, made a report followed by speeches about experience.
The meeting announced the outline for the 2026 socialist emulation for boosting the production of greenhouse vegetables among large-scale greenhouse farms.
