House-moving in full swing in Hwasong area

The new street, which received warm blessings of the respected
Officials of the organs of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government and builders warmly congratulated the owners of the new flats moving in with the licences for the use of houses in their hands.

Kwon Se Il, a worker of the Taedonggang District building management station, and his wife were moved to tears as they watched their children who were gaily frolicking about and asking if the flat was really theirs.
Yu Yong Guk and Ri Kyong Chol, special-class honoured disabled soldiers, said that the Party, which has shown all sorts of benevolence for the disabled soldiers, is now preferentially giving them modern new flats on low floors and taking warm care of them lest they should suffer any inconvenience in their life. They expressed their determination to always cherish the memory of their military service and support the country as they did during the days of military service.
In the dance parties held in front of the apartment houses, Ri Chang Guk and Ko Hye Yong, a worker couple of the West Pyongyang Trolley Bus Station, and Ri Yong Chol, researcher of the Academy of Railways under the Ministry of Railways, said that their whole families had not slept all night on the day when they received the house licences, adding:
“I still cannot believe that such a wonderful flat was provided to our family.”
“Everyone at my workplace as well as my relatives and friends heartily congratulated me.”
“It is really nice to have all kinds of service facilities on our doorstep. Our Party which gives absolute priority to the people’s convenience is the best and our style of socialist system is the best in the world."
All families from those of discharged officers and educators to those with many children are full of gratitude to the motherly Party and determination to work harder for the country’s prosperity.
Those who are out for a stroll with their children eager to visit the computer game centre and musical instruments shop walk about the beautiful street of happiness all night long, enjoying the spectacular illuminations.
Though there are many dazzling streets in the world, it is only in the DPRK that everything serves the people. Therefore, the songs “Dear Father” and “We Are the Happiest in the World” are resounding from the windows throughout the street.
