A national seminar took place at the People's Palace of Culture in Pyongyang on April 9 to deeply grasp and thoroughly implement the ideas and policies set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there were officials from central and Pyongyang municipal Party and administrative organs and working people's organizations and theoretical information workers of armed forces organs, the fields of science, education, art and literature and media and the Party cadre training institutions.

Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Hyong Sik, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Yong Sik, chief secretary of the Cabinet Party Committee, Ri Yong Sik, headmaster of the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK, and An Hyon Min, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, took the floor to read out their papers proving in depth the ideo-theoretical exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new heyday of comprehensive national development.

They said that the Ninth Congress of the WPK was a significant political event which set a new milestone in the sacred history of struggle for the Juche revolution.

They stressed that to thoroughly meet the requirements of the times for comprehensive development is an urgent task for accelerating the development of Korean-style socialism and achieving the people's ideals earlier.

Noting that "The people are god", single-hearted unity and self-reliance are the immutable ideals peculiar to the Korean revolution, which makes it possible to confidently propel the victorious advance of socialist construction, they said that it is the invariable principled stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to defend peace and security of mankind and promote the building of a just multipolar world.

It is a decisive guarantee for giving continuity to the longest building history of the socialist ruling party to firmly uphold and perfectly carry out the five-point Party-building programme in the new era, they said.

They called for dynamically opening up the greatest heyday of comprehensive national development, a new era of great changes, by upholding the revolutionary ideas and leadership of the great Comrade Kim Jong Un with single-minded efforts.
