The honour guards of the Korean People's Army lined up at the cemetery.

The national anthems of the People's Republic of China and the DPRK were played.

A flower basket in the name of the foreign minister of the People's Republic of China and his party was laid at the monument to the memory of the CPV martyrs of the cemetery.

Written on the ribbon of the flower basket were letters reading: "The martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers will be immortal".

The participants observed a minute’s silence in memory of the CPV martyrs who fought bravely in the sacred war to repel the invasion by the imperialist allied forces and looked round the cemetery.
