Sweet and biscuit sculpture show held
April 13, 2026The Sixth Sweet and Biscuit Sculpture Exhibition took place at the Chongnyu Restaurant in Pyongyang from April 8 to 10 on the occasion of the April holiday.
On display there were over 900 sweet and biscuit sculptures made by public catering and external service units and foodstuff factories in Pyongyang.
Sweet sculptures made by cooks of the Chongnyu Restaurant attracted special interest for their unique depictive techniques and refined colours.
Sculptures presented by Pothonggang Hotel, Pyongyang Hotel, the Minsong Foodstuff Factory, the Kumsong Foodstuff Factory and the Kyonghung Unhasu Foodstuff Factory were also highly appreciated.
There took place a demonstration of cooks and a briefing on the sweet and biscuit sculpture techniques.
The jury announced the results and diplomas, medals and certificates were awarded to the successful units and participants.
