Israel gets more undisguised in bloody massacre
April 17, 2026Israel is committing appalling massacres of innocent people more undisguisedly in different parts of the Middle East under the patronage and manipulation of the US.
Recently, the Israeli parliament adopted a “murderous bill” targeting the Palestinians. A “death penalty law” against the Palestinians waging a war of resistance against the “existence of the State of Israel”, the law is not applicable to Israelis who kill the Palestinians. Accordingly, the courts can sentence to death without the prosecution’s demand for death penalty and there is no need for a unanimous decision of judges.
In a word, it is aimed at branding the Palestinians’ resistance in the West Bank as “terrorism” and encouraging Israelis to freely kill them at any time under the signboard of “anti-terrorism”.
Several countries are becoming increasingly critical of Israel’s drive to introduce the system of capital punishment.
The Swiss Foreign Ministry expressed its stand that it opposes the system as it does not conform to human dignity and right to existence. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry denounced it as the dangerous and unprecedented deterioration of situation and an obvious violation of international law including the human rights convention and Geneva Convention.
Now the Israeli murderers are not only hell-bent on exterminating Palestinians but also detaining and mercilessly killing journalists.
The Foreign Press Association, representing dozens of media persons active in the Palestinian autonomous region, strongly criticized Israel for recently detaining CNN correspondents in the West Bank occupied by Israel. Saying that though the reporters who covered the situation in the area showed their ID cards, Israeli soldiers committed violence against them and confiscated and damaged their cameras, the association condemned such misbehaviour as revealing deep hostility towards the media and being intolerable in any situation.
Israel, however, killed Lebanese TV reporters again in a recent military attack on the southern part of Lebanon and shamelessly announced that the deceased were the “terrorists of Hezbollah” who were active under the signboard of “journalists”.
In this regard, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Israel's killings of journalists should be thoroughly investigated, adding that the civilian vehicles the journalists were aboard bore the clear marks of “press” on them and the international community should not accept Israel's logic to justify the killing of journalists on the pretext of the struggle against terrorism.
Lebanon is now preparing to bring a lawsuit against Israel’s repeated attacks on journalists that occurred in its southern region to the relevant international organization.
It is a clear violation of international law to target civilians and journalists in the disputed area and murderers will surely have to pay dearly for it.
