Men's volleyball game played to mark April holiday
April 18, 2026A men's volleyball game between the April 25 and Kigwancha teams took place at the Ice Rink in Pyongyang on April 16 on the occasion of the significant April holiday.
Among the spectators were Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party, government and military, officials of the Party Central Committee, ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs, service personnel of the Korean People's Army, Pyongyang citizens, youth and students.
The players of both teams showed thrilling scenes by displaying their high physical and technical abilities.
The April 25 team beat the Kigwancha team 3-0 by freely applying attack and defence tactics to suit its actual conditions and playing the game with great intensity.
The spectators waved their hands to the players who showed impressive performance to congratulate them.
