Russian parliamentarian censures Europe for war moves
April 23, 2026Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma of Russia, condemned the war moves of Europe through an SNS on April 17.
The European Union should seriously take Russia’s warning that the European munitions factories supplying weapons to Ukraine would be legitimate targets, he demanded.
He disclosed that Europe is not only arming Ukraine but also preparing for a war against Russia while increasing its military potential.
Russia has no intention to attack Europe, he said, adding that it is the militarization of the EU and its switch over to a military bloc that threatens the security of Europeans.
