April 26, 2026A firing contest of mortarmen of light infantry units under the large combined units at all levels of the Korean People's Army took place on April 25, the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

The firing contest was conducted in the way of judging the combat methods for the sub-units to rapidly conquer the natural and artificial interception lines, manoeuvre and fan out to destroy different targets within a set time and then hide and get away from the place according to their tactical missions.
