Air Canada to restrict flights to US
April 27, 2026The Canadian air transport company, Air Canada, announced on April 17 that it would restrict flights to the United States.
The price of aviation fuel has doubled since the Middle East situation has been worsened by the US military intervention. Therefore, the Canadian company reportedly decided that it has become impossible to provide air service on some routes.
Accordingly, the air service will be temporarily suspended on the routes from Montreal and Toronto to New York from June 1 and the one from Toronto to Salt Lake City from June 30.
