Andrei Beloussov, minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, and his party arrived in Pyongyang on April 26 to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations at the invitation of the Supreme People’s Assembly and the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.

The flags of the DPRK and the Russian Federation fluttered at the flag-poles of Pyongyang International Airport and honour guards of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.

The Russian defence minister and his party were warmly greeted by No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, Alexei Bartusov, defence attaché of the Pyongyang-based Russian embassy, and its staff members.
