Russian defence minister leaves Pyongyang

Andrei Beloussov, minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, and his party left Pyongyang on April 27 after visiting the DPRK to take part in the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations.

The national flags of the DPRK and the Russian Federation fluttered at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport and the honour guards of the Korean People’s Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.

The Russian defence minister and his party were seen off by No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, Alexei Bartusov, military attaché of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang, and staff members of the embassy.
