The official delegation of the Russian Federation led by Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin left Pyongyang for home on April 27 after attending the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations at the invitation of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.

The national flags of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation fluttered at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport and the honour guards of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.

Jo Yong Won, chairman of the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK, cordially said goodbye to Vyacheslav Volodin.

The delegation was also seen off by Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, officials concerned and Vladimir Topeha, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang, and its staff members.
