Artistes of Russia, China, Vietnam and Laos who took part in the 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival put colourful pieces of art on the stage to rev up the atmosphere of the festival.

Russian artistes excellently performed songs beloved of the Korean people, reflecting the boundless reverence of the Russian people for the peerlessly great men of the DPRK.

The head of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, who cherished boundless trust in the peerlessly great men as he visited the DPRK on more than ten occasions, personally conducted the immortal revolutionary hymns Song of General Kim Il Sung and Song of General Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary hymn Ode to General Kim Jong Un. His enthusiastic appearance and the artistes singing the hymns vigorously left a strong impression on the audience.

They wonderfully represented such songs as Midnight in Moscow well known to the Korean people with sonorous voices, distinctive timbres and well-knit ensemble, deepening the friendship between the peoples of the DPRK and Russia.

Dances showing the bravery and customs of the Russian people decorated the festival stage with splendour.

The artistes of the Chinese art group put on the stage hymns praising the exploits of the peerlessly great men of the DPRK who provided the precious tradition of the DPRK-China friendship and steadily developed it decade after decade and from one century to the next. The female solo Burning Desire and other songs praising the great men staged by artistes of the Chinese art group significantly decorated the festival. 

The Vietnamese artistes put on the stage the paeans praising the great men and popular songs loved by the Korean people.

They impressively performed such songs as We Are Koreans which reflects the faith and will of the Korean people to dynamically advance along the road of socialism under the leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, a national instrumental ensemble and other numbers.

The performance given by Lao artistes with a desire to significantly celebrate the April spring holiday added brilliance to the festival.

By singing some Korean songs, the performers highly praised the lives of patriotic devotion of the peerlessly great men who devoted their all to the prosperity of the DPRK and the happiness of the people. Also, they impressively showed the noble spiritual world and emotions of the Lao people in such numbers as female solo, dance and mixed chorus.
