Young people in Pyongyang volunteer for worksites to implement Party's decisions

Dozens of young people in Pyongyang have volunteered for worksites to implement the decisions of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Youths in Mangyongdae, Central, Phyongchon, Moranbong, Rangnang and Hwasong districts, including triplets Ri Chung Sim, Ri Hyo Sim and Ri Il Sim, petitioned the youth league organizations to send them to the Transmission Line Laying Station and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Station.

Those of Sosong, Taedonggang, Songyo and Hyongjesan districts volunteered to work at the Komdok Mining Complex, the Kangdong Area Coal-mining Complex, the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm and the Hyongsan Vegetable Farm for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.

Those of Sadong, Sunan and Tongdaewon districts and Kangdong County vowed to work at the road facility management stations, water supply and sewerage management stations and construction brigades with a determination to contribute to further sprucing up the capital city of Pyongyang.

A meeting was held at the Central Youth Hall on May 7 to congratulate the volunteers.

Present there were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youths and students.

Certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers to be followed by a congratulatory address and resolution-making speeches.

A resolution was read out at the meeting.
