Dozens of young men and women in South Hwanghae Province have volunteered for difficult and labour-consuming posts.

Those in Pyoksong, Kangnyong and Anak counties volunteered as farmers in the socialist countryside out of the desire to reap a good harvest in the agricultural province every year.

Others in Ongjin, Samchon and Unnyul counties requested their youth league organizations to send them to county construction brigades and raw materials base stations.

A meeting was held in Haeju City on May 11 to congratulate the volunteers.

Present there were officials concerned, youth league officials, youth and students. Certificates of volunteering were conferred on the volunteers. And then a congratulatory speech and resolution-making speeches were made.

Officials, youth and students encouraged the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them and putting garlands around their necks.
