Recently, the Israeli forces committed an outrage of attacking an international fleet, which was carrying humanitarian aid materials to the Gaza Strip, in the open sea.

The unethical conduct of Israel hindering the humanitarian efforts for the residents of Gaza has raised strong criticism from the international community.

The Gaza Strip is now faced with the worst humanitarian crisis.

According to a report issued by the World Food Programme on April 20, one in five families eats one meal a day in Gaza. Many people are forced untimely deaths as power plants, hospitals and others essential for human existence were completely destroyed as well as food.

In June last year, Israel captured a vessel carrying humanitarian aid materials to the Gaza Strip in Palestine, confiscated the materials and banished the members of a humanitarian organization, sparking international criticism.

Israel does not hesitate to commit any violent atrocities against members of international organizations working in Palestine.

It disallowed the activities of humanitarian organizations at the end of last year and destroyed the office building of the UN relief and works agency for Palestinian refugees in East al-Quds in January.

It also aims at members of the organization who are out to reduce the poverty in the Gaza Strip as targets of its attack. Hundreds of humanitarian activists have been killed since the tragic situation occurred in Gaza.

Facts show that the Israeli attack on the international fleet carrying humanitarian aid materials was not an accidental event, but a continuation of human rights violations Israel has systematically committed with the aim of exterminating the Palestinians.

Foreign ministers of 11 countries including Pakistan, Türkiye, Brazil, Jordan, Bangladesh and Colombia released statements, in which they bitterly denounced Israel’s misconduct as a blatant violation of international and humanitarian law and an act of hindering humanitarian efforts for the residents of Gaza.

And they called on the international community to fully discharge its legal and moral obligation by respecting international law, protecting civilians and punishing the acts of violating international law.

Now, the international community further raises its voices of protest against the unethical practices of Israel, which is hell-bent on its moves to seize the territory of Palestine while mercilessly infringing upon the elementary right to existence of the Palestinians.
