Profound respect for noble patriotism of war martyrs
May 27, 2026Growing deeper and higher with each passing day are the tremendous respect for and moral obligation to the brave soldiers who dedicated their youth and lives to the immortality and eternal prosperity of the glorious DPRK at the overseas military operations.
More than 435 000 working people of different strata, service personnel, youth and students from the capital city and local areas have visited the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations over the past one month since its opening.
In front of the Monument to the Korean People's Army Martyrs in the Special Military Operations, which shines as a symbol of heroism of the brave soldiers who added glory to the great name of the strong and the honour of victors, the visitors solemnly kept in mind the figures of the heroes who laid down their lives without hesitation on the sacred road of implementing the order of the motherland and those of the proud sons of this country who created miraculous battle legends unprecedented in history with a noble spirit and indomitable bravery.
Flowers continue to be piled up before the memorial wall, where stars shine day and night for their valuable life and noble soul that can never be extinguished or tarnished, and the memorial group sculptures. They represent the people's warm thanks and reverence for the war martyrs, who demonstrated the reputation and mightiness of the DPRK all over the world with noble self-sacrifices and heroic feats, and their ardent pledge to leave traces of honourable life like the brave soldiers.
Everywhere at the memorial museum, visitors more keenly realized the great trust and love of the motherland which put the noble life and immortal feats of the proud sons of the country on the platform of honour.
The fighting data of officers of the special operations units, who led the combatants to heroic feats through skilful combat organization and command, indomitable offensive spirit and frontline political work, clearly showed the visitors what kind of persons are true loyalists the Workers' Party of Korea wants.
Seeing the records of battles inscribed in gold letters on the pillar walls at the memorial museum, blood-stained written pledges and applications for accession to the Party, and letters to their beloved parents, the visitors hardened their will to make innovations and increase production at their posts and workplaces by carrying forward the soul of the brave soldiers who faced even death with the indomitable spirit of the Korean people, always with yearning for the homeland.
Photos, relics and data on feats showing the spiritual world of the passionate young soldiers, who highly displayed revolutionary comradeship at the decisive battlefields and unhesitatingly dashed to the enemy's positions, fired the visitors with an enthusiasm for loyalty and patriotism.
The DPRK will be dignified, powerful and strong forever thanks to such great heroes as the brave soldiers and the new generations will, along with the memorial museum, warmly embrace the brave soldiers, hand down the matchless war records forever and continue to write the history of patriotism and loyalty.
