Dozens of young people in Kangwon Province have volunteered to work at major worksites for socialist construction.

Graduates of technical senior middle schools in Munchon City and other areas went to the raw materials base stations.

Those of senior middle schools in Wonsan City requested their youth league organizations to send them to a road repair and management station.

Those of senior middle schools and technical senior middle schools in Changdo, Kosan and Thongchon counties offered to work at construction brigades and youth road platoons in their areas.

A meeting was held in Wonsan on May 27 to congratulate the volunteers.

Certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory and oath-taking speeches were made at the meeting attended by officials concerned and youth league officials, youth and students in the province.

Presenting bouquets to the volunteers leaving for their new posts, officials, working people and youths in the province warmly saw them off.
