Medvedev says: Collapse of Ukraine is inevitable
May 29, 2026Dmitri Medvedev, vice-chairman of the Russian Security Council, stressed that the collapse of Ukraine is inevitable, through an SNS on May 21.
Noting that Ukraine had already lost its features as a state, he said that the country cannot survive without funding from the West and nothing can stop the collapse of its system.
Ukraine lost more than half of its population, over 20 percent of its territory, nearly half of the industrial potentials and more than a fifth of agricultural potentials in a short time of history, he said, adding that most of its central government organs are absent or have lost their powers and the president, government, constitutional court and other courts exist against the constitution.
