Ranks of successors continue to visit the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site.

The battle site is an important base for education in the revolutionary traditions as it shows the anti-Japanese revolutionary exploits performed by General Kim Il Sung who put forward the policy of advancing into the homeland and organized and led the historic Battle of Pochonbo to victory.

Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students of many units, including Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, the Kyongsong Ceramic Complex and Phyongsong University of Education, have so far visited the battle site.

In the battle site they laid bouquets and flowers before the statue of General Kim Il Sung standing in military uniform during the anti-Japanese war and paid tribute to him.

Looking round various parts of the museum there, they keenly realized that the history of the guerrillas, who defeated the Japanese imperialists by dint of self-reliance, and the spirit of Mt Paektu are just the lifeline and eternal treasure of the revolution.
