The love of the great father who spares nothing for the younger generation and takes care of them with ardent affection is being repeatedly shown for the schoolchildren who participated in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.

The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un attended the conference in commemoration of the KCU’s 80th birthday to wish the KCU members across the country a bright future in his meaningful congratulatory speech and had a photo session with the participants in the celebrations. And then he took a benevolent measure to send gifts to them.

A meeting was held on June 6 to convey the gifts sent by the fatherly Marshal to the participants in the celebrations of the KCU’s 80th birthday.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other officials of the WPK Central Committee, officials of the youth league and the participants in the celebrations.

Ju Chang Il made an address for conveying gifts.

The speaker warmly congratulated the KCU members who celebrated with splendour the 80th founding anniversary of the KCU as a significant holiday to be remembered all their lives under the great loving care of the fatherly Marshal and came to receive the gifts of love.

He said that the gifts of love are associated with the boundlessly warm and profound affection of the Marshal who hopes the KCU members would grow up uprightly and stoutly.

The speaker asked all the KCU members to study hard and take an active part in the organizational life of the KCU and thus prepare themselves to be reliable pillars of prosperous Korea, who are knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy, and young revolutionaries and patriots supporting the country.

The KCU members, who received the gift lists and gifts associated with the tender affection and love of the benevolent father, extended heartfelt thanks to the fatherly Marshal for his great loving care.

The participants in the celebrations of the KCU’s 80th birthday hardened their resolve to grow up to be sons and daughters boundlessly loyal to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un and competent builders of socialist Korea, cherishing today's glory and happiness as the most beautiful memory in the days as KCU members.
