Brazilian President denounces US for unjust threatening moves

June 17, 2026

The Brazilian President rejected the unjust threatening moves of the US against his country on June 11.

As to the fact that the US is threatening to levy new tariffs on the goods from Brazil while finding fault with its forest management, he refuted that remarkable progress has been made in forest conservation in his country.

He made a stand against the US’ threatening moves, saying that the US chief executive is the president of the country, not an emperor of the world that does everything at will.
