A mass rally was held against the militarization policy of the Japanese authorities on June 14 in front of the Diet building in Tokyo.

A large number of people who took part in the rally shouted slogans to protest against the constitutional revision and war, censuring the Takaichi government and the Liberal Democratic Party for trying to revise the “pacifist constitution” and promote militarization.

Though tax burden on residents gets heavier and their living conditions worsen due to price hikes, the authorities are rushing towards remilitarization while expanding military cooperation with the US, they said, and warned that it might bring Japan into war again.

In order to prevent war, the Takaichi government must be ousted through a massive struggle, they stressed.
