The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Comrade Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, on July 1.

The message said:

Esteemed Comrade General Secretary,

I, on behalf of all the members of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people and on my own behalf, extend warm congratulations to you and, through you, to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and all its members and the fraternal Chinese people on the occasion of the 105th founding anniversary of the CPC.

The Communist Party of China built new China, where the people became the masters, by guiding them, and wrote a brilliant chapter in the history of the Chinese nation by vigorously promoting the cause of socialism with the Chinese characteristics, braving all trials and difficulties of history.

There is no new China without the Communist Party. This is the truth the Chinese people have realized while advancing under its guidance for many years.

I am convinced that the Chinese people will continue to achieve excellent successes in the struggle to comprehensively build a modern and powerful socialist country and attain the second century goal under the leadership of the CPC with you as its core.

It is the steadfast stand of our Party and government to steadily develop the DPRK-China friendly relations with long historical roots and with socialism as their core.

The recent Pyongyang summit was a historic occasion for deepening the comradely friendship and trust between us and re-confirming the unshakable will to more dynamically promote socialist construction in the two countries and their traditional friendly relations.

The absolute superiority of the relations between the two countries is firmly guaranteed by the leadership of the parties.

I am ready to add shine to socialism, the common cause of the two parties, and continue to develop the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations, the common wealth of the peoples of the two countries, as required by the times, together with you.

I wish you good health and greater success in your responsible work.

I sincerely hope that the People's Republic of China will be prosperous and the Chinese people happy under the leadership of the CPC.
