With the noble trait of helping and leading one another forward prevailing in the whole country, medical workers in different parts of the country bring patients back to life with their high medical skills and sincere devotion.

Those of the North Hamgyong Provincial Children’s Hospital resuscitated a granddaughter of Ma Kyong Sun, a woman living in Sinam District, Chongjin City of the province. According to her family members, when the little girl was unconscious and they did not know what to do, officials and medical workers of the hospital conducted an emergency medical treatment campaign and resuscitated her.

Though they were pressed for time, medical workers took calm and responsible treatment measures and devoted their all sincerity until the patient regained consciousness.

When the frail little girl came around, they cooked her favourite foods to stimulate her appetite and prepared tonics to restore her to health.

Health workers of the Pyongyang University of Medical Sciences Hospital also exerted themselves for the medical treatment of Mun Ryon Hui’s husband living in Kangso District, Nampho Municipality.

“After coming through several rounds of surgical operations, my husband’s health deteriorated and he often slipped into a coma. But medical workers of the hospital took immediate treatment measures even at midnight or early dawn, showing brotherly love for him. So he recovered his health and left the hospital,” said Mun.

In September last year, an honoured disabled soldier was brought to the Rajin District Hospital as an emergency case.

At that time, his disease was fatal.

Medical workers, including the deputy director for technology of the hospital, took measures by employing advanced treatment methods to shorten the period of treatment as much as possible while improving its effect and prepared a new wheelchair for him when he left the hospital.

The patient was so deeply impressed by them that he said he saw the true features of our society overflowing with virtues and affections in the looks of the kindhearted medical workers.

Those of the Songgan County Hospital in Jagang Province worked devotedly for over 40 days to restore to health the husband of Kim Sun Sil, a worker of the Songgan County Post Office, who was at the gate of death because of an accident. Health workers of the South Hamgyong Provincial Maternity Hospital also showed high medical skills and deep sincerity to bring back to health a woman, a rare case who had developed a complication.
