Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, made a comment on June 29 to warn Finland against posing a threat to the security of Russia.

As to the fact that Finland adopted a law amendment for lifting the ban on the import and deployment of nuclear weapons, she noted that it poses a substantial threat to Russia’s national security.

In order to eliminate this threat, Russia should inevitably take additional countermeasures of political and military technical characters and no one should doubt that such measures will be taken effectively at a proper time, she stressed.

Finland gave up its policy of not joining any military blocs by joining NATO and is turning into a tool faithful to the realization of the nuclear ambition of the aggressive militaristic bloc, she added.
