Russia demands EU abandon its aggressive policy
July 8, 2026Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova demanded that the European Union give up its aggressive policy against Russia at a press conference on July 1.
She said that Russia cannot help considering the anti-Russia policy of the Western group in mapping out its long-term plan.
In order for the EU to put its relations with Russia on a normal track, it should give up its aggressive policy and refrain from any unfriendly acts against Russia including interference in its internal affairs and the destruction of its social and economic stability, she said.
It will constitute conditions for normalizing the relations between both sides or stabilizing them at least, she stressed.
