The DPRK party and government delegation led by Premier Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on an official visit to the People's Republic of China, laid a wreath at the Monument of the People's Heroes at Tiananmen Square on the afternoon of July 10.

The guard of honour of the Chinese People's Liberation Army lined up in front of the monument.

The national anthems of the DPRK and the PRC were played.

A wreath in the name of the DPRK party and government delegation was placed at the monument.

Written on the ribbon of the wreath were letters reading "Revolutionary martyrs will be immortal".

The participants paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who fought for freedom and liberation of the Chinese people.
