The participants in the Eighth Congress of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea arrived in Pyongyang on July 11. 

The delegates, who are contributing to the prosperity and development of the socialist state by displaying the noble spirit and stamina peculiar to the Korean women in all parts of the country, were greeted by senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea including Ju Chang Il, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and officials of the SWUK Central Committee.

Working people, youth and students waved their hands to the buses carrying the participants in the congress on the streets of the capital city, extending congratulations to them.
